And Strap Work

This is a 45 minute yoga session that will challenge you. Don’t be fooled by the term “Slow” in the title. Often times we move through vinyasas quickly and we are not able to target the areas of the body that we need to. The first half of the class I have you maintain the poses for a bit longer. To really engage the muscles, give you time to work on lengthening and improving each pose.

Then I transition into some strap work (so have a belt or strap handy).

The peak pose is Bakasana (Crow Pose) and we also do Vashistasana (Side Plank) to warm up. And we round out the class with some balancing poses such as Vrksasana (Tree Pose) and Uthita Hasta Padangusthasana (Extened Hand to Big Toe Pose) with a strap of course!

So this session has a bit of everything. If you’re feeling in over your head then just take a break in Child’s Pose or have fun just trying. Remember smile and have fun! ☺️
